List a Product - Dealers

If you sell green building products, you may list your retail location(s) and your products on Green2Green℠ at no cost so that users may easily locate them for purchase.

How to List Products

It takes less than 10 minutes to add your product to Green2Green – get started now:

Step 1. Register for Green2Green as a dealer here. Creating an account allows the system to save your information. You must be registered as a dealer and list your retail location(s) in order to enter products you carry.

Step 2. Once you are logged into Green2Green with your username, go to “My Account” (there is a link on the login welcome page or in the navigation bar).

Step 3. Under “My Account,” click the link for “Products I Carry.”

Step 4. You can now select any green building products you carry, specifying which locations if you have multiple retail locations. Simply select the correct products and click save.

Step 5. If a product you sell is not yet listed on Green2Green, please contact the manufacturer and tell them about the site. You can send them this Product Listing Information sheet.

That's it!

List any products you sell by November 1, 2008 for the listing to be available for Green2Green’s launch at the 2008 Greenbuild conference, when all product listings will go live.

Why List Products

For building product dealers, Green2Green offers:

  • Competitive Advantage. Users can locate and compare your product to others, thus giving companies that make or carry innovative products the chance to compete on a national scale.
  • Credibility. Developed by the nonprofit institute GreenBlueSM, the site displays manufacturer-supplied data on environmental attributes such as indoor air quality, energy use, third-party certifications, and human health and safety.
  • Objectivity. Instead of ranking or rating products, Green2Green gives users the information needed to make product selections based on the attributes most important to them.
  • Practical Advice. The site was designed to feature advice from practicing building professionals on how to install, use, maintain, and dispose of the products listed on the site, and to allow users to report their experiences using the products.
