Green2Green seeks to provide credible information for all green building products on the market. The site allows users to compare products side-by-side, get credible environmental and practical information, and locate products.

Who provides the information?

Green2Green presents manufacturer-supplied information about green building products, including environmental attributes related to indoor air quality, third-party certifications, and human health and safety. Manufacturers may enter their product information here.

Why do I have to enter my zip code?

Before you can compare products on Green2Green, you must enter your zip code so we can present you with data about products that are available near you. Local resources for recycled and salvaged products are also identified using your zip code. Dealers may list the products they carry here.

Are products ranked in order of environmental attributes?

We recognize that the priorities surrounding product choice can and do change due to many variables. So when you browse the site by product category and use, you will see products ordered according to our default set of generic assumptions, or lens. That lens helps the systems pick the best products close to your location, based on basic product information and environmental attributes. Products are ordered relative to their peers. You can see our lens’ generic values here. In the near future we will allow you to create your own custom lenses for displaying products so you can order products based on your own priorities.
