Green2Green.org features comprehensive information regarding green building products, materials and practices. The site offers side-by-side comparisons of products using a variety of environmental, technical and economic criteria.
Green2Green strives to provide practical advice to users about green building materials and practices, by featuring expert advice, public forums on a variety of topics and by soliciting product feedback from users. Green2Green also locates dealers for all featured products and identifies dealer locations so users can access green products.
By providing this information, our vision is to support the growing green building industry and to encourage the design of innovative and sustainable buildings that contribute to the wellbeing of people and the planet.
Product and Data Source information
Green2Green features products organized by the following categories: Site, Foundation, Frame, Mechanicals, Exterior, Interior, Insulation, Windows, Roofing, Kitchen/Bath, Flooring and Finishes/Adhesives. For each product listed, we include information about basic characteristics, environmental attributes, affordability and performance. Our goal is to provide this information for all green materials on the market. We do not accept any advertisements, sponsorships or product placements in exchange for revenue, and we have no financial relationship with any of the vendors listed on the site. We obtain product data from manufacturers who submit information, online retailers, and information from users. Products are sorted and compared according to their attributes as described here.
