If you make green building products, you can list your product on Green2Green℠ at no cost allowing you to showcase your innovative products to thousands of building professionals nationwide.

Step 1. Register for Green2Green as a manufacturer here. Creating an account allows the system to save your information. You must be registered as a manufacturer in order to enter product information.

Step 2. Once you are logged into Green2Green with your username, go to “My Account” (there is a link on the login welcome page or in the navigation bar).

Step 3. Under “My Account,” click the link for “My Products – List Product.”

Step 4. You can now start to enter your product information. The first screen will ask you general product information, such as the location of where a product is made. The second screen will include questions about the product’s characteristics, including environmental attributes, and will allow you to add comments and tips for potential buyers.

Step 5. Once you enter this information, you will see a summary of the product so you can confirm that everything is correct before posting your product to Green2Green.

List your products by November 1, 2008 for the listing to be available for Green2Green’s launch at the 2008 Greenbuild conference, when all product listings will go live.

For building product manufacturers, Green2Green offers:

• Credibility. Developed by the nonprofit institute GreenBlueSM, the site displays manufacturer-supplied data on environmental attributes such as indoor air quality, energy use, third-party certifications, and human health and safety.
• Objectivity. Instead of ranking or rating products, Green2Green gives users the information needed to make product selections based on the attributes most important to them.
• Practical Advice. The site was designed to feature advice from practicing building professionals on how to install, use, maintain, and dispose of the products listed on the site, and to allow users to report their experiences using the products.
